<align-center>Unbelief
An Article By
Ron Cash</align-center>

<align-center>Being Wrong</align-center>

Most people will not admit they are wrong. Wickipedia explains it this way;

“A series of psychological experiments in the 1960s suggested that people are biased toward confirming their existing beliefs. Later work re-interpreted these results as a tendency to test ideas in a one-sided way, focusing on one possibility and ignoring alternatives.
<align-left> Explanations for the observed biases include wishful thinking and the limited human capacity to process information. Another proposal is that people show confirmation bias because they are pragmatically assessing the costs of being wrong rather than investigating in a neutral, scientific way.”</align-left>
    I've caught myself doing that many times. It's much easier to plug in something previously heard from someone else than to reconcile something with my soul or the Bible.

It's a human weakness to favor what we already think. Interestingly, it is the most common cause people get lost in the woods. They are sure they went that way, even though the sun is still in the same place and the trees have moss on the same side as when they left the trail. They usually walk in circles till they die.

It's usually not a lack of information that causes people to be wrong. It's a lack of humility and effort. Pride makes people prefer to die rather than be wrong, and laziness argues for the status quo.
Status quo means the existing state of affairs, particularly with regard to social, religious issues. Favoring what we already think also has far greater consequences against our chances of being chosen to get off this planet before it burns. Like our Lord said,

<align-left> “Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.” Luk 18:17</align-left>

A child is humble. They are still trying to understand the world around them. When an idea is presented, they try it on in their soul. If it fits with the truth God gave us all, they accept it.
It's only later when we put filters in the path to protect and defend us from our enviornment that truth gets complicated. It's understandable to filter things in this world, even necessary for survival. In order to survive here we sometimes have to walk like a duck and quack like a duck. But in our hearts we had better be honest with God.

    No one in this world who doesn't accept the Bible can help us into heaven or even get in themselves. Most people in the world choose a wooden duck for a religion. It floats and looks like a duck, but it will never fly. If you are in a place where people don't actually believe the Bible, you may be on the wrong boat. Our Lord did say,

“Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.” Mar 7:7

He was talking about the Pharisees and Sadducees in charge of the temple. They made up rules and added them on to His commandments, against His law, to elevate themselves. God said,

What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it. Deu 12:32

Our Lord gave us signs to recognize false teachers and prophets like;

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation. Mat 23:14

If our Lord thought what was happening at the temple was in vain, What must He think of what came from the Romans later on?

<align-center>Wishes, Magical Thinking, Unfounded Faith, And God</align-center>

In numerous cultures and societies, the concepts of wishful thinking and unfounded faith often blend seamlessly with the idea of magic. These elements play a significant role in human psychology and behavior, influencing how individuals approach life, face challenges, and maintain hope in uncertain situations. But, we must not allow it to keep us from reaching the real God.

<align-center>Wishful Thinking</align-center>

Wishful thinking refers to the intellectual process of believing that something desirable will happen, regardless of the reality of the situation. It is a cognitive bias that leads individuals to avoid accepting unpleasant truths or to downplay the likelihood of negative outcomes. While it can provide emotional comfort, wishful thinking can also result in poor decision-making and a lack of preparedness for future challenges. For instance, someone may wish for a promotion at work without putting in the necessary effort or skills, leading to disappointment when the outcome does not match their expectations. This is something left over from our childhood. It's a pattern we became accustomed to when our parents took care of us and we had no worries. When we left home, we were shocked to discover how many things were being done for us. Some of us didn't pick up all tasks needed to replace our parents. Later, we found we could just wait till something stopped working and deal with it then. The problem with that is, by the time some things don't work out, it's sometimes too late. We must not allow this to keep us from reaching the real God.

<align-center>Magical Thinking</align-center>

Magic, in this context, can be understood both literally and metaphorically. Literally, magic is often associated with rituals and beliefs that invoke supernatural forces to bring about desired outcomes. Metaphorically, it represents the idea of an elusive solution or an intervention that can resolve complex problems without tangible effort or practical groundwork.
Many people think they will be chosen, go to heaven and magically made into a good person.
If that were the case, What is the reason for this world at all? Why even go through all this trouble? Why doesn't God just build robots? The fact is, heaven is not about magic. Creation may seem like magic and the evolution theory depends on it, but it is not.
Magical thinking is a great shortcut to answers we are too lazy to investigate. Believing that hope or positive thoughts alone will lead to solutions without the requirement for action is childish. It's another thing from our childhood we need to let go. We must not allow this to keep us from our God either.

<align-center>Unfounded Faith</align-center>

Unfounded faith encompasses the belief in outcomes that have little to no supporting evidence. This form of faith can manifest in various ways, from placing trust in unproven theories and traditions despite consistent evidence to the contrary. While real faith can sometimes inspire individuals and groups to persevere through tough times, unfounded faith can also lead to disillusionment and vulnerability to manipulation.
Holding on to non-biblical faith often becomes detrimental to personal or societal progress. It can also keep us from discovering God.

<align-center>How To Get Right</align-center>

The more wrong we are, the more difficult it is to get right. Often, the Lord gets our attention with catastrophic circumstances. Sometimes really bad things happen in our life that changes our status quo. After we are cut to the soul, we look to God for answers. Then we can make progress into His truth. It's actually quite simple, that's when we surrender to the truth. The Bible only makes sense when we surrender to it.

<align-center>The Bible Is Not Wrong</align-center>

The Truth is, there is only one high God. And the whole reason for this planet is to provide a staging ground to find trustworthy candidates for an eternal kingdom.
We are here to display ourselves and our choices before God. It's like Shakespeare said, “all the world's a stage and all the men and women merely players.” What he failed to say is, It's an audition. God is watching to see who has allegiance to Him and whom to the world or the devil, the manager of this world.

God cannot afford to give eternal life and unlimited power to people He can't trust. If He did, the universe would turn into another Star Wars. The new kingdom will have one God, one culture and one purpose. There will be no ownership of things, no empire against empire, God owns it all. So, we will have access to everything, billions of every-things.
What we need to be doing now is getting our spirit in line with God's spirit. We do that by studying God's word in the Old and New Testaments. If there is a conflict in the text, we are not considering everything.

<align-center>The Real God</align-center>

The real God is the one who created everything. His name is יְהוּה Yehu. He had a son called The Son of Man in heaven in the First Age of the world. Later, He sent Him to earth to fix problems.
He then shared His name with a lot of people He took out of Egypt many thousand years ago and married them at a mountain called Sinai. They agreed to follow His commandments and to use His name. From then on they were called the יְהוּדִּים, Yehudim, Jews, meaning, (People of God.) But they soon stopped following Him and refused to learn His ways in the wilderness, even though He stood before them in a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night. As a result, all but two died out of over a million people in that wilderness. The same pattern continued throughout history as His people, called by His name, became faithful and unfaithful over and over. Finally, God sent His Son down in person as the Messiah. Most of His people rejected Him and His ways. So, He said:

“Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.” Mat 21:43

He also said;

“Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.” Joh 4:22
“But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.” Joh 4:23

The apostle Paul said it best;

For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: Rom 2:28
But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. Rom 2:29

Then, later in The Revelation, the most high God said,

Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. Rev 3:9

Think about that. If being a Jew had anything to do with bloodline, What difference would it make what they said? They would either have the right kind of blood or not.

The point is, God changed Who is a Jew and who can be called by His name.

But that's good for us. Now, anyone in this world of whatever race, language or ethnic group can be in The Lord's family and live for all time in heaven.

<align-center>Our Lord's Name</align-center>

When the Messiah was born, the angel, Gabriel, was speaking to Mary or Miriam, in Hebrew, he said;

And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name, Yeshua, (Savior) Luk 1:31

Gabriel did not speak to Miriam in Greek or Spanish. He spoke in Hebrew. The name he told her to call the child is, יֵשׁוּעַ, Yeshua. What Gabriel said to Joseph, Miriam's espoused husband, translated into English is;

“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name, SAVIOR: for he shall save his people from their sins.” Mat 1:21

That's not all. We know our Lord is also called by His Father's Name, like His Father's people, the יְהוּדִּים Yehudim. Of course, He has many names, but if His given name is added to His last Name, it is Yeshua Yehudim. That translates into 'Savior of God's people.'

Apparently, it's OK to translate our Lord's name into other languages as long as it means Savior. During Pentecost, while Peter was speaking, everyone there heard his words in their native language. If it was not permitted to translate everything into another language, Everyone there would have understood everything in Hebrew. What is more, it would be unreasonable to expect all the people of the world to know Hebrew.

<align-center>Ethnicity</align-center>

While our Lord was here, in a church meeting, He showed that His people are not special because of their bloodline.

And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read..Luk 4:16

Our Lord said,

“But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land; Luk 4:25
But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow. Luk 4:26
And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian.” Luk 4:27

And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath, Luk 4:28 And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong. Luk 4:29

People's ethnicity has never been the issue in God's kingdom. Even at Mount Sinai the only ones who survived were those whose heart was right with Him. The rest were killed. Later, in the wilderness the same thing happened. Only those whose heart was right with Him lived to cross the Jordan river, only two out of the original million or so.

<align-center>The Authentic Way</align-center>

At the heart of Judaism, (I think it should be called Yehuism), lies the understanding that God is unchanging and His path for humanity remains constant. This principle is rooted in the fact that God established His covenant with the people of faith, providing them with laws, ethics, and a way of life that extends beyond mere ritual into the realm of immortal and spiritual responsibility designed to last forever. This covenant is not just a relic of the past but a living framework for a home in His new kingdom forever.

To truly grasp the significance of Judaism's history as the ultimate way, we must appreciate the depth of its historical roots beginning with Enoch in the First Age of the world. Then, the Jewish people beginning at the mountain that burned with fire, and then what The Son of Man did as the Messiah when He walked the earth. This history reflects a profound understanding that divine truth does not waver with changing times; but, it offers purpose and hope for an eternal life to all who believe.

<align-right> Ron Cash</align-right>

    This passage emphasizes that ethnicity or bloodline does not determine God's chosen people or their standing with Him. Our Lord and the apostles taught that true worship and being part of God's people are matters of the heart, faith, and obedience, not ethnicity. Examples from scripture show that God's grace was extended beyond Israel to Gentiles, and that many Israelites who relied solely on their bloodline or outward appearances were rejected by God. The Bible highlights that being a "Jew" is about inward faith and relationship with God, not ethnicity. Ultimately, God's promise and His people are defined by faith in Yeshua (Jesus), not racial or bloodline distinctions.
<align-center>Ethnicity</align-center>

What does our Lord say about ethnicity and Jews? Our Lord speaking;

And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read..Luk 4:16

But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land; Luk 4:25
But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow. Luk 4:26
And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian. Luk 4:27
And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath, Luk 4:28
And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong. Luk 4:29

They thought God was partial to them because of their bloodline, but He showed them that was not the case, and it made them mad.
That has never been the case. Even at Mount Sinai the only ones who survived were those whose heart was right with Him. Later, in the wilderness the same thing happened. Only those whose heart was right with Him lived to cross the Jordan river, only two out of the original million or so.

Still today, The Lord has not changed His religion. When speaking with the woman at Jacob's well, He said;

Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. Joh 4:22
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. Joh 4:23

Not long after that, the apostle Paul explained the new deal clearly, he said;

For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: Rom 2:28
But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. Rom 2:29

How could people distinguish between the two? It must have looked like nothing had changed to most of the people in those days. While teaching in the temple the chief priests and elders came to Him to find out what authority He claimed to have. He gave them some examples of how things looked from God's view point and declared;

Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. Mat 21:43
And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. Mat 21:44
And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them. Mat 21:45
But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet. Mat 21:46

Every time He made them mad they tried to kill Him, instead of accepting who He is and being forgiven.

According to God, this problem existed in the wilderness, as He explained in those days;

Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways: Psa 95:10
Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest. Psa 95:11

That means they will not show up in heaven. That's pretty serious. Yet even today, many still believe in an ethnic empire that God never promised. He did promise Abraham his children would be a great nation, but He promised the same to Ishmael.

The last thing the most high God said about ethnic Israel was;

And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive; Rev 2:8
I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. Rev 2:9
And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write... Rev 3:7
I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. Rev 3:8
Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. Rev 3:9

Think about this; If being a Jew had anything to do with bloodline, What difference would it make what they said? Jews would still be Jews and Gentiles would still be Gentiles. Clearly, God is defining His people as something other than an ethnic bloodline.

Once again Paul expressed it best;

For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. Rom 4:13

When we think of who is a Jew try not to get hung up on the ethnic group God choose to marry. He could have chosen a different group. The point is not the skin color, it is the relationship and the behavior toward God that makes us Jews.

The fact is, everyone born on earth is a Gentile until they are saved by faith and baptized to the Savior, Yeshua Ha Mashiach. Since He is now king of the universe, it will now be His way forever.

במלכות החדשה יהיה אל אחד, תרבות אחת ומטרה אחת.</align-right><align-right><align-center>---</align-center></align-right><align-right dir="rtl"><align-center> שם האדון</align-center>באופן כלשהו, השם יְהוּה תועתק כ-Jehovah. המשמעות היא מושיע.</align-right><align-right><align-center>---</align-center></align-right><align-right dir="rtl"><align-center>סוזי הקטנה</align-center>כאשר הייתי בערך בן שבע, זרקתי בטעות ידית גרזן מעבר לגדר ופגעתי בכלבתי הקטנה סוזי. ומאז הייתי מודע לנוכחותו.</align-right><align-right><align-center>---</align-center></align-right><align-right dir="rtl"><align-center>מוצא אתני</align-center><align-right>ישוע הראה שאנשים אינם אהובים על אלוהים בגלל קו דם. אלא יהודי הוא אשר הוא בפנים.”(רומים ב׳:28-29)כל אדם שנולד בעולם הוא גוי עד שהוא נושע באמונה ונטבל אל המושיע — ישוע המשיח.</align-right></align-right><align-right><align-right><align-center>---</align-center></align-right></align-right><align-right dir="rtl"><align-right><align-center>הדרך האמיתית</align-center><align-right>בעולם שבו אמונות משתנות עם התרבות, היהדות עומדת כאור של אמת יציבה.
</align-center></align-right></align-right></align-right><align-right dir="rtl"><align-right><align-right><align-center>סיכום</align-center><align-right>אלוהים לא שינה את דתו.
</align-right></align-right></align-right><align-right dir="rtl"><align-right><align-right><align-right>רון קאש</align-right></align-right></align-right></align-right>
